Ysursa Didn’t Vote For ‘The Guy’

On the Election Central blog of the Idaho Statesman, Rocky Barker writes: Outgoing Republican Idaho Secretary of State Ben Ysursa has refused endorsement requests from both candidates, Republican Lawerence Denney and Democrat Holli Woodings. So today’s posting on Idaho Conservation League Executive Director Rick Johnson’s Facebook page will be very interesting to Idaho voters who have respected Ysursa’s non-partisan management of his office and state elections. Johnson wrote: “I just walked by the Idaho Statehouse and ran into a soon-to-retire statewide officeholder. I said, “you know we’re going to miss you”…and “what a mess this election could end up being.” ‘“I’ve already voted,”’ he said, ‘“I voted for ..”’ “I wouldn’t want to break a confidence, not that he asked for it, so let’s just say he didn’t vote for the guy,” Johnson wrote.
