Idaho GOP Gives Ybarra $5K

The Idaho Republican Party has kicked $5,000 into Sherri Ybarra’s run for state superintendent. The Wednesday donation follows similar $5,000 donations to Gov. Butch Otter’s re-election bid and state Rep. Lawerence Denney’s run for secretary of state. In all three races, Republicans have lagged behind Democrats in fundraising. Ybarra, a Mountain Home school administrator, listed slightly more than $22,000 in her latest finance report, filed Oct. 10, while Idaho Falls consultant Jana Jones raised more than $63,000/ Betsy Russell , Eye on Boise.
