Jeanie: We Are Family Here

JeanieSpokane (RE: ): I am much more a blurker now, but I am pleased that I had several exchanges with OTV here and on other blogs. But HBO is very unique. We are definitely family. We have suffered losses through each other; victories as well. I tried to express this at the last blogfest - but this group of people, even so widely spread on the political scale, was my strength and inspiration as I started dialysis and other issues. I was extremely ill in 2012 - and it was this group that I turned to for support and prayer. And here I am. I am very sad about Patrick - he was my oldest son’s age. So a son to me. To a lot of us. I’m glad you stayed the course on leading this blog - we really are a remarkable family. I count many, many as friends! And it says something too that most of us know our real names but humor us in going with whatever we signed up for. God bless Patrick’s family and the HBO family.

DFO: It’s hard to describe to outsiders what we have here at Huckleberries Online. So I don’t try much. I try to protect the bond here. That’s why I have little tolerance for drive-bys, trolls and newbies who throw elbows and want to crash the party. All are welcome. But some will find this isn’t the place for people with bad manners.
