9th Circuit: Mandate will issue immediately, stay lifted in Idaho

The 9th Circuit has just issued a five-word order , saying, “The mandate shall issue forthwith.” That means there’s no seven-day delay before Idaho’s ban on same-sex marriage is overturned - the decision takes effect immediately, and same-sex couples can now legally marry in Idaho.
