RRepubs To Hear Green, Sheriff

Kootenai County Commissioner Dan Green and Sheriff Ben Wolfinger will speak at the evening Kootenai County Reagan Republicans meeting,  6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Avondale Golf Course Restaurant, Hayden Lake. With the recent decision by District Court Judge John Stegner that the County’s proposed lease agreement with Rocky Mountain Corrections should not proceed because it violates provisions of the Idaho Constitution, Green and Wolfinger will discuss the County’s future options concerning jail operations. “Reagan Republicans have taken no position on this or previous jail proposals but our members are keenly interested in learning about the fiscal impact of all future proposals to build or expand jail facilities.” said KCRR President Jeff Ward. “We are all wondering what will be proposed next”/ Reagan Republican news release.
