Court To Hear 3 Gay Marriage Cases

On Monday, the 9th U.S. Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in three cases involving state laws banning same-sex marriage in
Hawaii, Idaho and Nevada. The arguments will begin at 1 p.m. in Courtroom One of the James R. Browning U.S. Courthouse, 95 7th St., San Francisco. The court will be providing a live video stream of the proceedings to viewing areas elsewhere in the courthouse. Internet users also can access the video stream by visiting the court website – www.ca9.uscourts.gov – and clicking on the link under the beige-colored bar labeled “Live Oral Arguments.” Streaming will commence a few minutes prior to the start of the proceedings. The court permits limited use of electronic devices in the courthouse/Media Advisory, 9th U.S. Court of Appeals.
