Leery of challenge

Regarding “Ice bucket challenge summer’s hottest hit” (Aug. 28):

Sounds like a shakedown to me. Give us $100 and the names of three friends, or you get a bucket of ice on you. As long as they stick to each other I don’t mind, but when strangers are challenged, the line is crossed.

I never had a panhandler threaten to dump a bucket of ice on me if I didn’t donate.
