Shine On, Harvest Moon
In an email, Pecky Cox/As the Lake Churns posts from Priest Lake: ” The final ‘Supermoon’ of 2014 wraps up the summer trilogy of full moons that began in July. This September full moon, in addition to being a Supermoon, is also known as Harvest Moon.
DFO: The moon was stunning last night. I watched it from my mother-in-law’s patio, in Coeur d’Alene Place. A short distance away, on the Lake City High football field, a group of people appeared to be practicing something. I suspect it was the high school band. But I couldn’t tell from the distance. Moon in the distance. A band at Lake City High. A meal with family, including a brother-in-law visiting from Portland. And a warm autumn evening. Does it get any better than that?
Question: Describe a perfect evening setting for you.
