Superlative WSU statistics
Through three games Washington State has put up some impressive stats, and not just because of its high-volume passing offense. The Cougars are also rank highly in certain special teams and defensive categories.

— Receiver Isiah Myers leads the Pac-12 with 26 receptions and 423 receiving yards. His 227 receiving yards against Portland State were the second-highest total by any receiver this season.
— The Cougars rank No. 15 nationally in total offense and are averaging 557.0 yards per game.
— Quarterback Connor Halliday’ performances against PSU and Rutgers are the No. 3 and No. 4 best games by any player this season in terms of total offense. His 471.7 total yards of offense per game trails only Brandon Doughty of Western Kentucky.
— Daquawn Brown’s five passes defensed against Portland State were the most by any defender in a single game this season. Brown has six passes defended this season, the most in the Pac-12.
— Kristoff Williams’ 155 kickoff return yards against Rutgers are the second-most by any players this season.
— The Cougars rank No. 2 in the conference in kickoff coverage.
— Rickey Galvin is No. 24 nationally with 11.4 average yards per punt return.
