Coeur d’Alene Fire Chief Kenny Gabriel said last weekend’s open house at Fire Station No. 3 was by far the best attended event the department has ever sponsored. The theme this year was “Working Smoke Alarms Save Lives.” Kids especially liked the fire extinguisher demonstration and exploring the fire engines.
