On The Waterfront — 9.25.14
During my noon walk On The Waterfront today, I …
- Gave directions to the Coeur d’Alene Skate Park to a shirtless young man on a skateboard near the mayor’s Fort Ground Grill on River Avenue. I like giving street directions to visitors.
- Watched one young female student unable to parallel park her average-size sedan in a large space along the Dike Road and then leave to look for another spot.
- Listened as a security guard told another young female student that she couldn’t park her battered pickup nose first into a small space that caused part of the bed to stick into the street.
- Ran into aphids on the sidewalk at City Beach.
- Didn’t have anything to give to a friendly squirrel who walked within a foot of me and then stood up on its hind legs to beg.
The North Shore is a viewtiful as you’ll see today, give or take a few aphids.
