Elect educator Jones
Idahoans have an opportunity to elect a new superintendent of public instruction, and the choices couldn’t be clearer: More of Tom Luna’s ill-advised “Luna Laws” under Sherri Ybarra, or a leader who will put Idaho on the right track.
Jana Jones has 40 years of experience in education in Idaho, from teaching in the classroom to being Idaho’s chief deputy superintendent of public instruction under Marilyn Howard.
I have had opportunities to work with Jones, and I can attest to her expertise and hard-working, no-nonsense, get-the-job-done work style that takes others’ ideas into account. Her mantra is “safe schools, great teachers, smaller class sizes, and challenging classes that prepare our kids for the future of their choice.”
Let’s get Idaho off the bottom in public education with tried-and-true ideas that work. Elect Jana Jones for superintendent of public instruction.
