Why Are You Here?

On her Facebook wall, Cindy writes: I had minor surgery yesterday at Providence Holy Family Hospital . Throughout the intake process I was asked repeatedly, “Do you know what procedure you’re here for?” I thought, my gosh, if they don’t know why I’m here, I’m in trouble! I started switching up my answers, “Liposuction,” “Face lift,” “Sex change.” Derek apologized for me. “I’m sorry,” he kept saying. “She’s a journalist, snark is her second language.”
