Weekend Wild Card — 4.4-5.15

The Gonzaga Bulldogs got us through another winter — and now it’s time to turn our attention to the Seattle Mariners. Yes, those Seattle Mariners. They’re going to be good this year. So you’d better jump on the bandwagon now to make sure there’s room when September and October roll around. They start the season Monday afternoon at home against the Angels. Meanwhile, the Idaho Legislature has a little gas left in the tank. Maybe a week’s work. We’ll find out Monday whether Gov. Butch Otter signs the “instant racing” bill or not. But first things first.
