Door-To-Door Sales To Be Regulated

City officials in Coeur d’Alene approved an ordinance that will regulate door-to-door sales people. The city council voted on the ordinance Tuesday night. The ordinance requires solicitors to register with the city and pass a criminal background check. The ordinance applies to people going door-to-door explicitly trying to sell something. It does not apply to non-profit groups, religious organizations or politicians/ KREM 2 . More here.
