In Praise Of CdA Dog Park

In a Coeur d’Alene Press letter to the editor, Beverly Hanson writes:

We moved to Coeur d’Alene in September 2014. We love it here. Our neighbors told us about the Nez Perce Dog Park a few months ago. Ever since we go on a regular basis. The people and dogs we have met at the park are wonderful. There’s Henry, the elderly basset hound who’s considered the Mayor of the Dog Park. You ALWAYS know when Henry is in the park by his distinct tuba-sounding bark. His owner, Bob, was one of several people who were instrumental in getting the park started years ago. He’s a wonderful man to talk to, and we love hearing about the dynamics that went into getting the dog park started and keeping it going. I would like to say thank you to Bob, the city of Coeur d’Alene and everyone else involved in putting this dog park together. More here .
