Judeo-Christian heritage false

I want to thank you for publishing jurist Wayne Wilmer’s March 27 letter; indeed, a clear-cut clarification entitled “Bible not a legal source” (for the U.S. legal system).

Yes, let’s get real. See also the sculptures on the walls of the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., showing that America is not religiously based on a Judeo-Christian heritage. Jesus Christ, the king of kings, the only savior of mankind, is conspicuously missing, while Hammurabi, king of Babylon, is depicted receiving the law from the Babylonian Sun God.

Among many others are Muhammad, the Islamic leader and, of course, the Jewish leader Moses as well as military war leaders, politicians and philosophers.
