Update: Shooting Suspect Caught

At just before noon today, KCSO detectives were following up with known associates of (Michael) Couture and residences that he may be at when they located his car at the Tullamore apartments in Post Falls. After a short telephone conversation, Couture exited an apartment belonging to a friend of his. Mr. Couture was arrested on an unrelated warrant. Couture remains a person of interest in the earlier shooting incident in Hauser Lake. Detectives will be following up with interviews and search warrants for Couture’s vehicle and the apartment which he was located in. Background information here.
