There Oughta Be A Law …

Huckleberries Online would like to propose its first piece of legislation in the 11 years of its existence. Idaho GOP legislative leaders should be banned from allowing more than 2 Idaho Panhandle legislators from serving on any committee, unless the third one would be either state Rep. Luke Malek, R-Coeur d’Alene, on the House side or state Sen. Shawn Keough, R-Sandpoint, on the Senate side. The law would be cost neutral. But it would prevent a significant minority from the Tea Party precincts of the Panhandle from coagulating in any one committee where they foment hysteria and prompt votes that could costs Idaho tens of millions of dollars. This law should stand until such time as mainstream Republican leaders in the state take their party back from the hardliners and restore an open primary.

Question: Would you support such a law?
