Some have no voice

It is time to make the decision to vote on Spokane Transit Authority Proposition 1. Only the citizens who live in the service area of STA are being allowed to vote. All of the registered voters in non-service areas but who live in Spokane County are not given the opportunity to vote.

However, we will be required to pay the additional 0.3 cents sales tax if it passes, in addition to the 0.6 cents already being paid whenever we shop at the malls, eat at restaurants, or buy anything in Spokane County.

This is wrong. These citizens have no choice, no vote, nor any service. As you consider how you will vote, I hope you will keep in mind the many people who have no voice.
