‘Conservative’ Doesn’t = ‘Republican’

I think it’s time to stop using Republican and conservative to mean the same thing. Is it conservative to …

1. Use taxpayer dollars to pay for frivolous lawsuits?
2. Is it conservative to deny equal rights to all citizens (gays, blacks, Hispanics, women)?
3. Is it conservative to deny health care to all citizens because you don’t like the president?
4. Is it conservative to deny property taxpayers a TAX BREAK by not taking the federal portion of Medicaid because you don’t like the president?
5. Is it conservative to put abortions back into the alley, or Mexico, so you can inflame your base?
6. Is it conservative to allow corporations more control of the political process than the citizens?
7. Is it conservative to inflict your religion on those who happen to think differently from you?
