Disappointed in GOP candidates

I was a Youth for Goldwater, and campaigned for President Reagan. Now, Donald Trump, a corpulent demi-god, is leading my beloved Republican Party. This racist draft dodger disses Sen. John McCain, a decorated fighter pilot, for being captured.

Jeb Bush has declared war on entitlements. As a field representative for the U.S. Census, I saw how important food stamps, the school lunch program and Social Security are. Any political party that wants to reduce or curtail Social Security and take food from American children is despicable. Our veterans’ benefits are in jeopardy. Any veteran that votes Republican should get psychiatric help.

Sen. Rand Paul is our only hope for a Republican president, and he is an anathema to his own party. He is for prison reform, revamping our drug laws, tried to restore our rights of privacy, and is a dove. His fellow Republicans dislike him, and love Trump because he speaks their (demented) mind. I swore an oath to fight despots, and now the Republican Party is led by one.

Hillary Clinton is embarrassing for women. She is not likable, and would lose women’s votes because Hillary, betraying her gender, is a hawk.
