From Post Falls PD Swing Shift Tuesday:
Recovered Stolen Vehicle/Poss controlled substance/Paraphernalia/Poss concealed weapon/Driving without Privileges
— Officers responded to report of a stolen Chevy truck with Montana
plates. Officers located the truck in the Walmart parking lot, which was mobile at the time. Officers conducted high risk traffic stop on the truck and detained a male driver and female passenger. Through interviews and a search of the vehicle charges came to light. The male driver was taken into custody for Grand Theft (Poss of stolen vehicle), Driving without Privileges, possession of a concealed weapon without permit, and possession of methamphetamine. Female passenger was taken into custody for possession of controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, and criminal possession of a financial transaction card. Both the male and female were transported to PSB and booked on the plethora of charges. It should be noted that K9 Andor conducted a sniff of the vehicle and found the methamphetamine in the vehicle. This was a good job by K9 Andor and Officer Robertson.
