Poll: Overhaul E. Sherman Ave

• Tuesday Poll: A plurality of Hucks Nation wants the city of Coeur d’Alene to overhaul East Sherman Avenue. 117 of 237 respondents (49.37%) desire a complete overhaul of the eastern entrance to Lake City, which some consider to be the most run down area of town while others say it is improving organically. Another 78 of 237 (32.91%) say the city should improve streetscape and sidwalks. Also: 19 (8.02%) say the city should leave East Sherman Avenue alone and another 18 (7.59%) say the city should provide only “minor tweaks” to East Sherman. 5 (2.11%) were undecided.
