Triple Murder Suspect Pleads

The alleged lone shooter responsible for a Jan. 10 rampage through Moscow that left three dead pleaded innocent to multiple murder charges Tuesday. John Lee, 29, sat between his attorneys with his head buried in his chest as Latah County 2nd District Judge John R. Stegner read his rights to him before entering pleas of innocent to three counts of first-degree murder. The Moscow man also pleaded innocent to a single count of felony aggravated battery and denied the use of a firearm in the alleged crimes. Lee is accused of shooting and killing his landlord, David M. Trail, 76, at his office on East Third Street before driving to the Moscow Arbys, where he reportedly asked for the manager and then opened fire on 47-year-old Belinda G. Niebuhr as she fled out the drive-through window. He then allegedly made a stop at his parents house on the 400 block of Veatch Street/ Elizabeth Rudd , Lewiston Tribune. More here.
