Letter: 1st Amendment Applies Equally

News flash: Federal judge rules Idaho’s anti-dairy spying law violates animal rights activists’ First Amendment rights to expose cruelty to dairy cows. Meanwhile, a federal judge in San Francisco has extended a restraining order that blocks a human rights group from releasing videos documenting Planned Parenthood’s harvesting and sale of fetal body parts and intact fetal cadavers/ Duncan Koler , Hayden, letter to Coeur d’Alene Press.

DFO: I usually don’t agree with Koler. But he brings up a good point here. If First Amendment rights are in play to expose cruelty to dairy cows, why shouldn’t the same rights be in play to document Planned Parenthood’s clandestine activity? Thoughts?
