Liver Redux
As you know, the lead to my Sunday Huckleberries column involved my dislike for liver. We discussed this here last week, too. Well, I received two emails over the weekend from Spokane readers who love liver:
- “I like liver. When I was in the Marine Corps “liver days” in the mess hall were good days for me. I could get all the liver I wanted from the liver haters. The same was true when we had SOS (chipped beef on toast)” — Lloyd Hoppner.
- “I pity the millions of poor souls who never tasted liver prepared by my late grandmother, Adelia Honsowetz” — John P. Simanton, Spokane.
Question: Anyone out there eat liver on a regular basis?
