Morning links: Gray clouds at WSU practice give way to glowering heat

Washington State’s Tuesday practice ended with a rain shower. Today, the Cougars will probably miss the precipitation as they practice in 106-degree heat.

Yesterday’s practice saw the WSU offense turn to running back Gerard Wicks and its rushing attack. You can read about that in our practice report . We also present this story in the paper about WSU’s nickel position, and why some Cougars are practicing at both defensive back and linebacker.
