Wild Card — 8.11.15

This is the time of the summer when I enjoy plucking tomatoes off the vine — cherry tomatoes or the Early Girls — and popping them into my mouth. You can’t buy that sweet taste at a grocery store. Toss in an evening game of the Mariners losing to whatever team they happen to be playing — and a few hummingbirds chitting in my Russian olive tree — and everything is near perfect. I wished we could save a couple of these days for the dead of winter. Here’s your 2nd Wild Card of the work week …
