Hump Day Wild Card — 8.12.15

I’m 3/4ths of the way through ripping out another of those landscape projects that made since years ago. A few years back, I tore out all the mugho pines, bird nest pines & barberry bushes in the front yard. Last year, I tore out all the fruit trees that underperformed or attracted worms along the back fence. Now, I’m tearing out a triangular patch that was overgrown with vinca vine. Each time, my new landscaping project has been a major upgrade from the old. Once this piece is in place, I’ll be finished with the yard for years to come. Or until next year.
