I enjoyed a cup of coffee and conversation this morning with Mayor Steve Widmyer at Bakery by the Lake. The mayor was still grinning as a result of his decision Wednesday to take wife, Marie, on a road trip. Each had a free day Wednesday. So they decided to catch the Mariners game with Baltimore at Safeco. You don’t have to be a Mariners’ fan to know the rest of that story.
