He Didn’t Cry Highway Robbery

A funny thing happened to Keith Boe of Post Falls on a trip to Seattle on business. Seems he stopped in central Washington for gas, an energy drink and to use the restroom, a fairly deserted station. A couple of guys in a trashed silver pickup were giving him strangely at he entered the station. Keith shrugged it off. The guys were gone when he exited the station, after cleaning out his Subaru. Gone were Keith’s sleep apnea machine, laptop, luggage, toiletries, clothes, etc. Take it away, Keith: “It’s hard to get over the feeling of being violated, but it also makes me very thankful. I KNOW that every day I am fed only by God’s own hand personally. Matthew 6:26 ‘Behold the birds of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are ye not much better then they?’I also know that in Jesus, I have been released from my own guilt and will not be held in account for the things I have done. My ticket has been paid and Christ set me free. I am thankful for this and very thankful for the life I have been given. Nothing else really matters.” Now, here’s a guy who looks on the sunny side of life. And there’s this kicker: “I retained more than I lost. I had $ 10,000 worth of Samsung gear in the trunk and my keys were in the cup holder.”

Question: Have you ever been robbed while on a business trip or vacation?
