Latest On Priest Lake Situation

Pecky Cox, our Eye on Priest Lake, emailed Huckleberries about noon that life is going on per usual at Priest Lake: “A little bit of nervous-ness and very (edgy) people. Obvious reasons. Lake looks sad and the whole atmosphere ‘pinkish’ with the sun trying to make it through smoke. ALL else is pretty much OK. Walkers on the trail even. NO REASON to panic (yet). I think. Nordman Bar is full of locals every night. ‘Almost’ enjoying the whole town gossip with smiles and beer. I just saw a boat pulling a skier which is I think “pushing it too much” due to air quality. Elkins Resort is so cozy with people enjoying Huckleberry Daiquiries on lawn lookin at golden sunsets (smoke). Did you ever watch ‘Dolores Claiborne’ movie?”
