Sanders is Truman-like

This is in response to Sam Van Wyck’s Aug. 13 letter about the embarrassing GOP debate. He asked, “Where are the Harry Trumans of the world when they are so sorely needed?”

I suggest he pay attention to Sen. Bernie Sanders. He tells it like it is, wants to help the middle class and doesn’t take contributions from big money corporations.

He’s the closest to Harry Truman we’ve seen in many years.
