Program details outdoor attractions at Lake Roosevelt

Beach camping is popular during summer in Lake Roosevelt National Monument. House boats have built-in toilets, while tent campers are supposed to bring portable toilets and pack out their human waste. (Rich Landers / The Spokesman-Review)

PUBLIC LANDS — Tips on exploring Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area’s camping, paddling, fishing, climbing, swimming as well as the history, ecology and other activities will be presented tonight, 7 p.m., at the Spokane REI store.
