Tax cuts hinder firefighting
Our Stevens County Fire District 1’s chief is fighting a 4,000-acre fire with 11 volunteers. The county is under a state of emergency due to fires, but there are no more resources available.
This is what happens when you allow frivolous and irresponsible tax-cutting without thought or regard for the consequences. I’ll bet neither Tim Eyman nor the Fagans were volunteering on the fire lines.
