Coeur d’Con arrives Saturday

A mini comic convention celebrating books, movies, games, manga, comics and all avenues of geek culture with special guest classic cartoon animator and director Tom Cook. There will be a costume contest, crafts, games and face painting. Children and teens will get to try their own hand at comic creation in a Build-a-Comic Workshop. Attendees can also explore new and emerging technologies, both fun and functional, with the SPLAT! Tech Petting Zoo. The costume contest is at 2 p.m.; registration starts at 11 a.m. and is limited to 30 participants.
