Be grateful for Avista
I am so frustrated at The Spokesman-Review and all the negative articles, editorials and letters regarding Avista Utilities. Avista employees who must go out into horrible weather, be it wind or snow or ice, to restore our power deserve more than their paycheck.
I would not wish for my son, husband or daughter to go into that situation; always dangerous dealing with downed power lines and the continuing danger of more falling trees, ice, snow, etc.
We recently moved to this area, and our rates are so much lower than our previous home in Central Washington, where we lived for 22 years. Thank you, Avista.
Avista has a website that offers more information regarding the company than the average customer wants to know. Especially interesting is the Avista 101 series to learn more about how things work. The complainers need to know as much as possible about all that Avista does before popping off.
Be grateful for what you have here.
