Every time I receive my property tax bill for the December payment, I think: Really? Isn’t there a better time of the year to remind property owners that taxes are due on Dec. 21 — four days before Christmas? Many, of course, don’t have money to pay property taxes in January and February, after Christmas. OTOH, I can’t think of any better times to pay taxes than June and November. So there’s that.
