Parisians an inspiration

Thanks to the media, images of barbarous acts are repeatedly played out for our viewing pleasure. It is easy for me to want to go after the evildoers after seeing the horrendous acts of violence and disregard for human life.

But lately the image that keeps replaying in my brain is that of Parisians who, after the Paris attacks, declared unconditional love for one another as the appropriate reaction to those atrocities. This is tremendously encouraging to me.

I am thankful that the goodness and kindness of people cannot be shaken by those who live in the shadows.
