New Nixon, Ziegler

Look up the word “disingenuous” in the dictionary and you’ll find a picture of Spokane Mayor David Condon.

Obviously, Condon is Spokane’s own version of former President Richard “Tricky Dick” Nixon, and spokesman Brian Coddington is this generation’s Ron Ziegler, who was Nixon’s spokesman.

I just hope our not-so-illustrious mayor doesn’t give himself a hernia trying to straddle all those fences.
