Better things to do

I am the first to think there is never a policeman around when some crazy driver is nearby, but in regards to Tom Roberts’ Dec. 2 letter, “Where was the traffic help?,” I have to laugh out loud.

Seriously, does Roberts think the police had nothing better to do than direct traffic? Are Spokane drivers so inept that they cannot figure out what to do when traffic lights are out and there is more than one car at an intersection?

If so, then perhaps Roberts should be advocating more training to our drivers, which may not be a bad idea now that the snow has arrived and accidents have piled up already.
