Extremists are extremists

Sen. Ted Cruz, Donald Trump and other Republicans keep condemning President Obama for not calling ISIL’s attacks as “extremist Islamic terrorism.” But I don’t hear any of them referring to the Colorado Springs terrorist or the bombers of various Planned Parenthood clinics as “extremist Christian terrorists.”

These shooters and bombers are the same: fanatics with twisted versions of their religion. Only the religions are different. If imams haven’t been forceful enough in denouncing the extremists in their religion, note that ministers and priests have also been pretty quiet about extremists in theirs.
