Articles, editorials unfair

Your recent editorials and news stories doubling for editorials concerning people and events at Spokane’s City Hall are a weak example of yellow journalism, but still yellow and unfair to all concerned.

You have been a witness, a reporter, a policeman, the judge, the jury and the executioner of former Police Chief Frank Straub, Mayor David Condon, Monique Cotton, Bob Dunn, Theresa Sanders, Brian Coddington and others.

Condon did not cause any of the current upsets unless you blame him for hiring Straub in the first place. Maybe the hiring was a mistake; maybe the current situation is not being handled like you want it to be, but Condon has done and is doing what he believes is right.

When all the stories are told and final results are determined it will be recognized that Condon has acted with courage and respect for the people involved in these events.
