CPD Seeks Endangered Runaway
Coeur d’Alene Police officers are searching for an endangered runaway girl. Emily Rose Walther, 14, was last seen at her home in Coeur
d’Alene on Feb. 1. She was reported as a runaway by her custodial father the following day. Information obtained from investigators indicate she left home to stay with friends on Feb. 1. It is believed she met up with her 18YO boyfriend, who later told officers he dropped her off at Super 1 in Hayden to meet her mother (father has custody). Investigators have attempted several times to reach Emily’s mother — who is reportedly living in her car and motel rooms. It is believed Emily does know police are looking for her, but is hiding out. Emily is a white female, 14 years of age, 5‘3 and 95 lbs with brown eyes and blonde hair. Because of the uncertainty of her whereabouts, the length of time she has been gone and her age, investigators believe Emily is endangered and ask that anyone having information about Emily to please contact the Coeur d’Alene Police Department at (208) 769-2320.
