Seniors should back schools
My wife and I have lived in the Central Valley School District since 1966. We raised four sons, all of whom went through the CV school system and are now contributing members of the communities they live in due in no small part to the education they received in the district.
As senior citizens, we urge all voters to support the CVSD ballot measures, but mainly our fellow senior citizens. Why seniors? Do you realize what quality schools do for our economy, and subsequently the value of our property?
Many seniors are considering downsizing. It is a proven fact that many new young families purchase their home based on the quality of the educational system in the community. The proven effectiveness of the CVSD certainly has a positive impact on our home value.
Realizing that there will be no increase in our annual school taxes, please join us in voting yes for the CVSD bond and maintenance and operations levy. Our collective offspring will reap the benefit of our investment in quality schools.
