Support for Scamahorn

I cried my way through the recounting of the horrible verbal bullying and physical assault on Jacina Carla Scamahorn. Thankfully, there are a lot of good people in this world, including the Boots Bakery staff who gave Scamahorn free food. They respected Scamahorn as the struggling human being she is, and showed her the compassion she deserved.

I can’t help but wonder how hard it would be if I woke up tomorrow as a man. What would I do? Would I have the strength to pursue the more difficult path and live my authentic life?

I can only imagine the struggles Scamahorn has encountered on her journey. I truly pray that she finds housing and the support she needs to live a happy and fulfilled life. And, oh yeah, the bullies get theirs.
