Wanted: Writing Contest Judges
Facebooks David Townsend of the Coeur d’Alene Library writes: “The 27th annual Writers Competition at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library has begun and I am making my annual request for qualified judges. The Writers Competition is for fiction and nonfiction prose – there is no poetry category – of 2,000 words or less. Entries are judged in age groups that include 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-18, and 19+. However, arrangements have already been made for judging the two youngest age groups, so we are only seeking judges for ages 12 and up. The deadline to submit entries is March 31. We anticipate judges will receive their packets – normally 25 to 35 entries per packet depending on the age group – no later than April 10.” More here .
Question: Why do/don’t you think you are a qualified person to judge the Coeur d’Alene Library contest?
