Solons Should Pass Test, Too

Better Idaho is circulating an online petition demanding that Idaho legislators pass a civics test, if they’re going to require that high school seniors to so to graduate. Legislation introduces this week would require seniors to pass the same test as immigrants applying for U.S. citizenship. The online petition says: “If lawmakers think it’s important for high schoolers to pass a civics test, voters think its important for lawmakers to pass one too . If lawmakers are going to ‘talk the talk,’ they should ‘walk the walk.’” You can see the petition here.
