Music is in decline
Things are changing awfully fast, and not always for the better. I read in the paper that piano stores are closing because children aren’t getting piano lessons. What’s next; violins, reed instruments, horns? To be replaced by soulless, tinny-sounding electronic music performed by computers?
The visual arts were downgraded long ago, with some works being like child’s play, created by people with no talent but a lot of nerve.
Singing today often sounds more like screaming, and they can’t sell pianos anymore? Sad, sad.
